The next three boats will be called Valiant, Warspite and King George VI. Provisionally named “Successor” (being the successor to the Vanguard class SSBNs), it was officially announced in 2016 that the first of class would be named Dreadnought, and that the class would be the Dreadnought class. Is a battleship bigger than a destroyer?.What was the largest battleship in the world?.What is the best aircraft carrier in the world?.What is the oldest warship still afloat?.Are there any surviving British battleships?.Are there any British ww2 battleships left?.Is a Dreadnought bigger than a battleship?.Most players don’t even like the new system they find it convoluted and annoying. If you’re honestly thinking that hard about a new engine tech in the game as some grand conundrum I feel sorry for you. With “Flaws” I scrap 30 ships of the same class all built to the same specifications because each of those 30 have ridiculous flaws in proven systems. We shouldn’t need “solutions” for every flawed ship, just fix a issue and be done with it. I disagree completely with what you said the devs and your ideas for flaws is Is poor and severely hurts enjoyment and practical play of the game. WITHOUT "Flaws" i wouldnt even bother to think about.now i do :)))Ī PERFECT system would be that we had to find Solutions for every flawed Ship singlehanded, by just overworking those specific Flaws showing up with a special Refit !! "hmmm, this new Engine would save me 1.000 tons, so i could put those new 15" on the Ship.but its completly untested.what should i do ?" Its makes the Design Process so more balanced, constantly waging Risk vs. In its IDEA i love the new flaw system !!! Sorry to disagree, atleast partially, old friend :) So to summarize this is a Cool Concept I really like it.īut at the moment it's a bit too extreme and full of far far far too many flaws. But supposedly you can fix other flaws and I am yet to see the other flaws get fixed in any refit I have done. Why do I say Tonnage Related? Because if you read the notes you CANT fix over weight and underweight ships. The only way I fix flaw's is to scrap the ship and build 6 more hoping to get a decent one. I agree their are way way too many flaws per ship and too many flawed ship's per build.Īnd I haven't yet been able to make a flaw that is NOT Tonnage related go away no matter how many refits have been done. I think the part I find most annoying is just how many flaws appear on each ship?!? To an extent I like the fact I am having to do that, it certainly puts a new dynamic into the game. Right now the feature is far to full of flaw's (Pardon the Pun)īut seriously I find myself building 6 Ships at a time to them delete 5 and keep 1. So my opinions on this post is I support it partially. I personally would like to see a flaw system something similar to RTW has, a small touch of randomness and fixability and not constant and debilitating, not this “oh! the first dozen new ships you make with the new tech will be useless because you don’t know how to use the tech”. Which seem wild to me personally to me that you can’t correct it. But yeah Also so far according to the dev the overweight flaw is permanent. True, although the difference between the takao’s overweight issue and what many are experiencing is hilarious. Overhauled or toned down would be nice, it seems over there top.īut I like the idea, I can now build comically overweight Japanese cruisers and stuff.Įdit: though even the overweight stats I think should be, if not refitted out completely by removing the overweight equipment, you should be allowed to refit additions to the hull of the ship to minimize the instability and effects of unexpectedly overweight ships (IRL examples: Takao and Atago) Originally posted by Richard Dastardly:You should really be able to check for flaws in the commissioning stage & be given the option of sending the ship back to be corrected.
